Hi! I know this is a kind of odd (and vague) request, but does anyone know of any good SFW crack fics? It’s been a stressful week so I’ve been looking for some utter ridiculousness to cheer me up (crossovers, crack AUs, anything!) thank you so much!
Here are a few I found for you, dear!
the best laid schemes by asideofourown (T)
There was a squeak by his foot, and Crowley cracked one eye open to see the rat from before sitting in front of him, clutching a small, tarnished key in its mouth. Crowley blinked.
“Huh,” he said. He was used to his schemes coming back to bite him in the ass, but this was the first time something demonic he had done seemed like it would actually end up helping him. The rat squeaked and then scurried up his arm, depositing the key to his manacles into his hand before returning to the floor.
“Well,” Crowley murmured, a plan forming in his mind as his fingers curled around the key. He snapped his fingers, freeing himself with a miracle, and collapsed with a grateful sigh to sit properly on the floor. “Now,” he said, looking at the rat in front of him with a sharp smile. “How many friends might you have on this ship?”
[Over the years, Crowley's made some furry friends. Having an army of rats comes in handy, sometimes]
Blame It on the Goose by almaasi (G)
Village shenanigans AU where neighbours Aziraphale and Crowley are given the runaround by a particularly rude goose.
Or:
When Anthony J. Crowley moves to a pleasant English village, he expects to begin a peaceful life, gardening and minding his own business. He pretends not to notice his new neighbour, some flamboyant toff named Azira-something, who seems to do nothing but eat, and illustrate birds. But there’s a horrible goose on the loose, and it and its friends are causing a disturbing amount of havoc. Stealing shoes, squashing flowers, unlocking gates, tangling hosepipes... and sending Crowley out of the house with no clothes on in the middle of the night to borrow some underpants from the aforementioned neighbour. The entire population of Lower Tadfield is in uproar over these innocent-looking monsters. Something must be done! If Aziraphale and Crowley have to team up to defeat a gaggle of psychotic geese, so be it. And if they happen to like each other more than expected, so be that, too. What good is a peaceful life without a dear friend, anyhow?
Dear Raphael by asideofourown (T)
The thing was, even after Crowley Fell, Heaven forgot to delete his login to their system.
The only half interesting thing he had ever found in Heaven’s archives was their newspaper, even though it was a dreadfully dull rag. But even then, Crowley was never inspired to truly interfere with the Celestial Observer’s contents until the late 1600s, when advice columns were invented on Earth.
As always, brilliant inspiration struck him like… like whatever inspiration strikes like. So Crowley resolved to meddle, just as a side project. Maybe if he got enough angels heated at each other, he could report it as a victory to Hell. Anyway, Dagon had always liked gossip, and the Celestial Observer’s new advice column was a ready source of that.
It was pure genius.
[Crowley, demon of Hell, becomes Heaven's foremost advice columnist]
“Little old lady on the floor below” by Mischievous_Misfit (G)
"I headcanon that he helps the little old lady downstairs with her groceries and the like but that if anyone asks about it he just lies. She knows he's not human and removes all the religious stuff from her house to make him more comfortable. It isn't until she says something about having to hide her garlic away that he realizes she thinks he's a vampire."
This is fic based off of @KillHitlerAgain headcanon on tumblr. I saw it and just knew I had to write it out. Hope you enjoy!
Feel free to add on with your own recs!

The flavor text of the magic card Aspect of Hydra i think fits here.
"Even alone I outnumber you."
Pfft, that definitely fits here. Hydras are to plurals what werewolves are to gays, I think. If that makes any sense.

You smiled and it was the most beautiful thing that I’d ever seen, And you apologised, but then you covered your mouth cause you’re insecure about your crooked teeth, but can I just say this, I’m kinda glad that you never got braces, cause I like your smile just the way it is

the nice thing about liking a character just off to the side of importance (naruto's substitute teacher, my favorite guy) is that while there's plenty of narrative stuff to play with for my characterization of him, people don't really care all that much unless they r weird like me and have very intense yamatofeelings
so there's also not like. a Group Consensus Yamato in collective minds bc people just do not think about him all that much. this is probably largely bc kishimoto just like. totally removed him from any narrative autonomy/weight

For anyone who reads my content on AO3, please be aware I’ve temporarily had to limit access to my fics to registered users only. I had a string of bots go through almost all of my fics, leaving URLs (not sure what they were for — I wasn’t about to click any of them). All the comments have been removed/reported as spam, but I don’t know if this means my fics were data scraped, or if these were the AI bots supposedly doing that. I’m really hoping that’s not the case, but for the time being I’ll unfortunately have to keep my fics under lock for registered users only. /: It honestly blows, and I’m really sorry to anyone who doesn’t have an AO3 account and reads my stuff. Not sure when I’ll change the access so it’s open again, but please feel free to message me about my fics on here. <3

(click to enlarge. there wasn’t room on the meme for me to make the disclaimer that yes obviously a big portion of stede’s obliviousness is straight up born from being a wealthy white dude with no real-world experience and i’d never discount that.
i just think it makes sense that he sucks at actually communicating and that he’s used to not thinking about other perspectives, and i think it makes sense that through meeting ed, who likes and wants to get to know him off the bat, he does improve his social game on the ship enough to be accepted and protected by his crew in the end
and also that any take on stede that states he sees himself as important is wild to me when it couldn’t clearly be farther off from what canon shows us about him.)

Do you feel bad when you suspend or expel a student?
File: NewsInterview_1300YT.vid-trscpt
Nedzu: I do. Suspension is one thing as it is often can help the student realize that their actions are placing them at risk, but to expel a student outright? It is a failure that we are unable to help guide them regardless of what type of poor behavior they have committed.
Nedzu: In many instances all the student needs is to be placed in a different homeroom or course track. The new environment and direct exposure to an unfamiliar set of social dynamics, although it is a less drastic shift than it would be otherwise, is typically enough to help break them out of whatever pattern they had long enough for them to begin to change and improve.
Nedzu: However in the cases where a student must be expelled from UA, it is necessary for the safety and well-being of other students and due to the student in question's staunch refusal to change. Even so we still try to provide the student the tools they will need to better themselves and hope they gain the help they need.

“You took a great risk, coming here.”
“Well, what’s life without a little risk, my brilliant Frenchman? ...Forgive me -- your Highness.”
“No. ...Forgive me, but...I never want to hear that phrase out of your mouth again, Mr. Knightly.”
“...Then I shall simply have to come up with others, my prince.”
In England at the start of the 20th century, a soft-spoken, intellectual prince with a love of academics and learning and a flashy, charming vaudeville entertainer with a tragic past carry on a secret whirlwind romance that comes to a head at a fateful royal ball, where the prince is expected to announce his engagement to a foreign princess and the young actor plays his part so well that no one would suspect his humble origins.
xxx featuring James McAvoy as Jackson Knightly @carewyncromwell and Luke Treadaway as Montelimar “Monty” Bloom @cursebreakerfarrier
#gaaaaaah this idea wouldn't leave me alone I just had to do something with it#but yeah vaudeville theaters would've been considered rather low-brow compared to more upscale theaters#so this fits for a cinderella-esque story#not to mention we have our two wonderful perfect gay men in a time period when homosexuality was er...yeah a bit frowned upon#I see jacko boy having made a name for himself as a stage magician when he was still under his father's thumb#and then becoming more of a traditional vaudeville entertainer -- magician actor singer dancer -- after running away and growing up#I also see these two having met while monty was visiting the local university#dressing super casual bc plz don't bow and act all weird with me I just wanna read lots of books >//<#so jacko boy originally has NO idea who he's even talking to even though he can kind of suss out he's upper crust pretty easily#and because jackson also is kind of putting on his best face monty at first thinks he's part of -- like -- the royal theater company#partially because of how well-spoken and gentlemanly he acts hahahaha#not that either of them are disappointed when they figure out the truth#aside from the slight 'oh...wow yeah we're from two different worlds' thing#if I wanted to lean into the time period part of this AU I could always reference wwi as a plot point#but not too much -- no tragic ending for these boys no way :I#anyway these two own my heart and I need to do more with them I love them so ;~;#jackson knightly#montelimar bloom#au#moodboard#...I can't even label this as cinderella au because I already did one for carewyn LMAO#would you even believe that cinderella isn't my favorite fairy tale?!?#it just fits these two so well though

as an aromantic person who loves reading, watching and writing all types of romances from the very tragic to the very sweet, i’m interested less in the narrative arc from “my life is devoid of romance and therefore meaningless” to “i’ve fallen in love so my life is now meaningful,” and more in the arc from “my sense of identity has become lost to me and therefore my life has a hollowness to it” to “i have met someone whose presence has encouraged a form of self-actualisation i didn’t have access to before and therefore my life has joy and colour in it again”. because framing it that way makes it also applicable to friendships and other types of social bonds, and allows those bonds to have the same “life-saving” weight that romances do, without elevating romance on its own as the sole reason someone might feel revivified after a period of depression, monotony or purposelessness.

“if you don’t have anything good to say, ✨don’t say anything✨” is my life’s motto, after all~
#my specialty is keeping my opinions to myself… all while silently judging you to your faces#it’s a skill i learned from my mother… though she’s also a hypocrite who judges you with the people she’s with. thanks for the life lesson 妈#i’ll only give my opinions when asked… or cry about it in the tags of my own posts bc i really like my echo chamber ok#(…though it’s also bc i have actually contributed to misinformation in the past… [stares at my sh*n j*da* tl])#i’d like nothing more for that nonsense to get buried under my old posts but the lyrics vid that used my tl has over 100k views now and—#[buries face in hands] i would like to sincerely apologise to everyone who has had the misfortune of seeing that horrible tl#i mean!!!! i literally forgot that the word ‘hoarse’ exists!! that’s why that weirdass ‘till our throats burn dry’ even exists s o b s#and i also forgot to even type in some entire words and aaaaaaaaaaaaa#the cringe is real. s o b s. i’m so sorry for the misinformation#what brought this on? well… i’m just having my daily ✨quarter life crisis✨ wherein i’m struck by the realisation that i’m bad at everything#then i thought about my tls, which led to me thinking about my greatest tl failure (aside from my daikirai tl)…#…which naturally led to the thought of ‘oh crap i spread misinformation :(’,which led to… this#i swear i’m bad at everything aside from running sideways in crowded train stations… maybe my true talent was crabwalking all along…?#inedible blubbering
